Amazing news for the New Year. Dave Johns, the talented writer, actor and stand up comedian who is one of the leading stars of I, Daniel Blake has agreed to do a Q & A session prior to our showing of the film on Friday 20th January at the Folk Hall in New Earswick.
Dave won the prestigious British Independent Film Award for Best Actor in 2016 and was also nominated in the European Awards.
Most of you will have seen him on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind The Buzzcocks or with Rob Brydon on Annually Retentive.
Dave has also won countless rave reviews for his theatre work over the years around the UK and in Ireland.
